Fabulous hotel and staff. Everything is vegan and taste delicious…except the morning coffee. Our room was perfect, the only improvement I could ask for is the flower pots on the 3rd floor. All the other floors had beautiful flowers on the deck. The third floor flowers were all dead and the pots were smelly. We would definitely stay again. We also received free bus passes for the Bernkastel wind fest. We are not a vegan household and still loved the food. Our teens raved about the cheesecake.fantastic view!!!
It was one of the best experience we had! Unique only vegan concept! Amazing to have such a nice vegan place in a beautiful area! Restaurants were amazing! They have 2 different type of restaurant! In one restaurant, we got special surprise menu where they are using their local products! The other restaurant offers more regular vegan options! Definitely we will be back! thank you for your hospitality!
Really good experience! Nice little Spa (pool and 3 different saunas) and a beautiful view. The place is run by the owner, who as a chef is also responsible for the delicious vegan burgers. Really nice staff and nice guests, too. Huge breakfast buffet - suitable for carnivores, at first glance you couldn't tell that it's all vegan. Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.
As inted, the hotel gives a warm family atmosphere.
The food was good (but not exceptionnal). The hotel was clean. The saunas inside the hotel were modern and well equipped.
The owners are amicable and attentive to their clients needs. They were always avaible to provide us with tips & recommendations for activities in the vecinity or simply present for a pleasant talk.
In addition, the location is simply beautiful. Lots of nice routs through nature and perfect for bike owners.
Had a wonderful stay. Awesome breakfast buffet and three course menu for dinner. Very welcoming staff. Unfortunately we didn't get ZDF for the EM Games but got a complementary bottle of prosecco. We will come back. Not only for the all vegan hotel but also for the beautiful landscape.
We love coming here as it's one of those gems you wouldn't expect to find in such a place. Germany's first vegan hotel, run by the Nicolay family is definitely worth a visit if you value haute cuisine and fine dining. Everything is home made and absolutely delicious. This goes from home grown mushrooms to their own plant-based cheese to cruelty-free ice cream.
If you are looking for some exciting vegan food or simply want to explore the world of vegan dining and see what's possible without animal products, I can highly recommend this place, as you will not be disappointed.
The weekly Sunday brunch also leaves nothing to be desired!
It's a shame that the only vegan restaurant in the area was a total disappointment. We had to wait 15 min for the menus (even though the restaurant wasn't full) and after that almost one hour for our food. They have two menus, we ordered from the "fast food" list. The lupin schnitzel was soft inside and didn't taste good, if you want a sauce with the schnitzel you have to pay 3,5 euros more. My friend ordered a vegan "fish" burger and the potato wedges on the side cost another 3 or 4 euros, it was practically one potato in four slices (and the dip another 3 euros). No one even apologized for our dishes being brought so late.
Vegan Hotel at the river shore of the Mosel. Very friendly also for dogs. Dinner is better from the Card.
